Friday, June 3, 2022 - Waiting to open this turned a ruby red on the cusp of garnet, but taste wise feels more or less pristine.

Focused on red fruit and complemented with some minor spice character, it shows candied and jammy raspberry (think of a mix of a VDN of Maury-style & Frappato), pepper & undescript herbs.

The aromas are helped by the lifted alcohol, which is not in the way when wine is slightly chilled.
Thus it gets a bit unbalanced with more time in the glass, but I like the intensity, it’s no fussiness of fruit focus for its price range. Would I buy it again?
No, probably not.
