Tuesday, July 29, 2014 - This is an OMG-I-shouldn't-open-this-on-a-weeknight wine. Very dark and opaque, still showing purple with bright red edges. Nose is developing with smoke, earth, thyme, every sweet black fruit ever grown, and a bit of cigar box. Palate is big and creamy with beautiful tannins and a bright acidity that gets lost behind all that action. Very long finish. This is true love!
