Very full bodied, powerful on the palate with ample fruit and a bit of heat. Not exactly my favourite type of wine these days, but I liked it a lot nevertheless. Still quite young so decant for hours or, better yet, cellar for a few more years. Would probably be a great match with barbecued meats or marinated ribs.
