Saturday, February 18, 2017 - Deep ruby almost purple, pale rim, viscous legs. Pronounce complex aroma of eucalyptus, dried lavendar, sweet vanilla, blackberry, plum juice, mineral, cedar wood. Full body, high acidity and alcohol, quite obvious grainy tannins but ripe. On palate more prune, wood, red date, leather and black tea flavours noted. it has palate filling concentration but remains fine and quite focus, balanced, long. Finally at its drinking window now. Last taste 2 years ago when it was still a bit austere.
