The alcohol was more upfront then the 05 and therefore the fruit was not as enjoyable. I decanted in the bottle for 4-5 hours prior to serving. It got better as I took sips along the way to see how it was progressing. I'm going to leave the balance of my 06's to age while I enjoy the 05's over the next few years. I'm just not sure why people have the 06 rated a notch above the 05 on this board. It's just not the case.
