94 Points

Saturday, May 6, 2017 - Beautiful, lovely complex nose, of ripe black berries, blueberry, bramble-berry pie, mint, dry earth, decaying leaf, brine/salt, classic elements of a quality Barossa Shiraz. Palate has good repeats, again with the velvety consistency of fruits and earth elements typical of quality Barossa or McLaren Vale Shiraz. Almost a 4.5 star, I wouldn't want to see the tannins come down any further as they are just enough there to balance and back up the expectations set on the nose. Therefore, drink now!

The nose!
