Thursday, March 2, 2023 - Bright and slightly tart on the palate upon opening, almost pinot like. Over the hour the tartness settled a bit to reveal a nice balance of mildly tart red fruit (cranberry/strawberry), wood, graphite with a slight tar undertone. Some grip to the tannins, light to medium finish. At or slightly past it’s peak, imho. A nice wine that seems like it’s done all it’s going to do. Drink up!
