Monday, March 7, 2022 - No less than a 90. Smooth, but very much not thin, definitely much depth. Not a fruit or alcohol bomb, but the fruit was enticingly dark and elegant. Not robust, but not lacking in standing up to food (ham and sides)...but probably not a wine for spicy foods, pizza, burgers...grilled salmon would also be a good choice.
Just a damn fine wine. Thank you Costco for carrying this and shame on me for buying only one bottle. If you let it breathe all afternoon, it will be right in the drinking window you want.
