Thursday, April 11, 2019 - Opened 1/2 hour before pouring. Deep red almost cherry nose. Still lots of Ziegler black pepper spice. W lentil sausage stew last night. Gassed. Day two bit of alcohol on the nose. Fruit and spice. Husband thought almost port-like heaviness but not sweet. Had w Hamburger and it was great. Not over by any means. Drinking dates should definitely be extended. 15.3% alcohol
