Wednesday, November 22, 2023 - First Wednesday Wine Club Rhone Dinner (One Penny Red, Summer Hill): Dense concentrated black fruit, blackcurrant, blackberry tends to compote, a little black pepper, sweet spice, Slight alcohol prickle, tight, showing very young, blackcurrant, sweet spice, talc textured tannins persists long and are both wood and grape derived, a little rocky minerality. Time and lots of it but balanced and very good.
