Dark, jammy fruit on the nose with lighter cedar and leather notes that I would normally expect for a Napa Cab. Not quite a "fruit bomb", but lots of jammy dark fruit flavors that remind me of a full bodied grenache. Get the sense that this fruit was left on the vine to very fully ripen. Solid but smooth tannins. OK on its own, but is more of a food wine...was excellent with my grilled flank steak. Very nice wine, but if you are looking for the quintessential Napa Cab, this probably isn't it.
