Friday, August 6, 2010 - This wine is rather ordinary for Diamond Mountain fruit. It has good character and balance but nothing stands out. On the nose it has ripe plums with tart apples and fresh grass plus the tobacco that you expect from a lot of CA cab mountain fruits. In the mouth it's well balanced and integrated but nothing memorable. Almost reminds me of a lot of restaurant house wines: aim not to offend. Finishes moderately long but I would expect it from a wine in this price tag.
At $35 I may buy another bottle anything above that I rather put my money elsewhere.

Remember you don't drink the label.
