Saturday, July 9, 2011 - Hardly a sign of age on a dark ruby red color. Aromas of black fruit, cherry, blackberry, smoked meat, green pepper, dusty chalk, and limestone. The mouth feel is very surprising for the asking price of this wine! Elegant and soft on the palate yet gobs of fruit, ripe tannins, and subtle tannins. Shocked at the 14.5% alcohol, because there was no signs of heat only a wonderful balance. The finish is medium to long ever changing and satisfying. Wish I had a few in my cellar.
