Monday, February 19, 2024 - Paired this with Peking Duck. First whiffs out of the bottle has a touch of funk, then black olives in brine. After an hour it smelled like cherry cola and blueberries. It tasted sublime, initially it was a touch closed but with air it had black cherry, strawberry, blueberry at various stages, with a touch of bret funk. Silky tannins, excellent finish. Worked perfectly with the duck.
