Tuesday, February 13, 2024 - Couple of yeare ago we bought a 2019 bottle in Antinori center and had to open it because we didn't want to carry it through the flight etc.

So when we had a chance a 2016 bottle in Israel, quite over the top🥺

Cloudy red dull color, with a lot of brown.

Medium body. Medium acidity. No tanines, No structure. Smooth.

Vaguely aromatic, spices, terroir, ageing then vaguely barrels and red & black fruits.

Palate: pepper, anise, licorice, hazelnut, cheese, mushrooms, leather, oak, vanilla, plum, cherry, earthy.
