Thursday, December 7, 2023 - Great at first sip, with no air/breathing at all. Absolutely opaque maroon, decent legs. Nose is chock full of ripe, sweet fruit; absolutely lovely. Rich and full in the mouth, firm but chewy tannins, with very pretty pure fruit flavors. Nice complexity and long finish. Perhaps the best value of '19 Bordeaux out there still on store shelves. 5-12-17-9: 93/100.
