Saturday, November 18, 2023 - First impression was being impressed by how approachable this is already. Dark red color with some purple hues. Nose is all tobacco, rich dark fruits and a touch or vanilla and expresso. Upon tasting we get all those notes as well. Blackcurrant, Blackberries and some Cassis. Velvety tannins, a very smooth wine. We compared it to a 2019 SuperTuscan (Saffredi) and this was much more ready to drink now than the Tuscan. At around 100$ if you're lucky, this is a baller Bordeaux. Very well made and extremely enjoyable now. Not sure how age will change this as it may lack a bit of acidity to be able to withstand a long while in the cellar.
