Monday, June 8, 2020 - Semi-blind tasting of 6 Merlots in June. One hour decant.
Medium purple. High viscosity.
Cherry, strawberry and blueberry on the nose with strong smoky aromas along with vanilla and sourdough. Cherry and fig on the palate. Medium body, high alcohol, med+ acidity, fine medium tannins. Balanced with medium length. Of the 6 tasters, those that like lighter wines all had this in the top 3.
