Monday, December 4, 2023 - EYES: Very dark garnet with orange rim, with thick slow legs
NOSE: Quite strong aromas of blackberry, hickory, tobacco, and maybe a little butter essence
MOUTH: Heavy dark fruits hit you up front, paired with a feeling of high tannins; Acidity softens as an aftertaste of cherry cola comes on; pretty mild heat for its ABV
OVERALL: Good wine overall; very serviceable Zinfandel, maybe not as complex as some, but enjoyable through and through!
