Wednesday, May 19, 2021 - The Wine Society: Beaujolais wines; 5/10/2021-5/20/2021: Ah man, what unexpected pleasure. £10 buys you a ticket to a ride with so much pleasure you need to double check and say "but you mean I get the whole bottle for this price?"

Gritty, earthy yet also ripe with a not-quite-ripe-not-quite-austere feel on the palate... at times high tones raspberries, and then at times black fruit, mushrooms. Stupid value.
