Many of my 2005 cru beaujolais have been surly and unappealing for many years until recently, when most of them have blossomed into things of beauty. Perhaps, this one is just a little slow. It certainly seems to have the material. For now, however, it is surly and requires some significant effort to get to a place of modest enjoyment. Ultimately, judgement reserved.
