Monday, October 27, 2014 - Bought on a whim for a tasting and it's always nice to try affordable Bordeaux with some age. And there is some slight hints of maturity on the nose, but otherwise the wine feels very vibrant. Blackcurrant, slightly green bell pepper stems, coffee, wood, raw tomatoes, ceder and a hint of dust. Medium+ acidity with good intensity and fairly round tannins. Good balance and length. Not a complex wine, but I enjoyed just drinking it. Which is something that's not always the case.
