Sunday, February 18, 2024 - This is a delicious Ribera del Duero. Expressive nose of dark fruit, violet and subtle French oak. Wonderful palate, good concentration and length. Reminds me of Monteabellon Crianza only much more refined. Garmon 2017 still has some tannins, but is in a good spot now. We had it with venison steak, a great combination. Decanting is advisable, since there's quite some deposit in the bottle. Doesn't need air, though.
