Wednesday, February 24, 2021 - First look at the 2019s from Richter, and it’s a lovely start. Spätlese weight, and definitely fruity sweet, it’s golden apple and white peach on the nose, then supplemented with stony, floral and lime zest tones through the mid-palate. The acidity is well balanced to the sweetness, such that there is no lingering impression of sugar, just ripe fruit and stone. Balanced for aging, but easy to enjoy now.
