Friday, July 28, 2023 - 92 is a valid rating, but my last two ratings, of the 2018 Ürziger Würzgarten and previous vintage of this wine here, force me to take it one notch below 92 because I feel it is ever so slightly less intense than the 2018. Yet this is tentative and will have to be explored further. Nettles, acacia honey, mango, lemon, quince and gun powder seem to be the notes around which all of these wines by the old vintner brothers under this name revolve. Notice: from vintage 2020 on this estate was taken over by Selbach-Oster !
