Monday, May 14, 2018 - Definitely feminine. This reminds me of David Lett's adage about how color & concentration are be inversely correlated for Pinot. In this case, the smaller frame lets the rest of the package shine.
Lighter body. The nose starts out w/ a leather/charcuterie character. Ripe, briny olive tapenade on the palate. Tannins are well integrated. Like actual olives, the finish feels clipped, but still present minutes later. I don't think that this has anywhere to go, but this bottle would definitely last a couple more years & would be a good QPR at $60.
