Saturday, January 16, 2021 - Oh my god! Light and sprightly, lots of lingon berries (I am a Swede after all) and violets on nose and palate. Never quite gotten these kind of fruit notes before, I have to be honest. I'm searching for the perfect descriptor of it, but somehow I can't formulate what it reminds me of, just that it's totally unique. Light tannins, juicy and delightful all the way - a summer Zin, but also wouldn't be amiss with a piece of steak. Blind I would have said Pinot Noir, for sure. In fact, the first thing that came to mind, is that it reminded me of Kelly Fox's Mirabal. This could be my favorite Zin ever - just a joy through and through.
