Sunday, July 6, 2008 - Made from 97% Syrah and 3% Marsanne some of this blend spends 12 months in French oak. The resulting wine is intense red in colour. It shows great fruit aromas, including blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant, ground black pepper and tar. The palate is full and flavorsome - more dark fruits, wood and spice. Rounded tannins. Good finish.
