Friday, December 18, 2020 - I was not as enamored with this wine as most here seem to be. Very intense violet color, intense and high pitched blueberry fruit. I did not detect any telltale bramble like Zin fruit flavors. Thankfully this did show a nice mineral element running down the middle. But, honestly if I'd tasted this blind I would have never guessed Zinfandel. Note to self...stick to 100% Zinfandel fruit when purchasing.

Relatedly, their zins tend to have higher acidity and less jamminess than others. Your overall conclusion may be right that isn’t your favorite style.
