Thursday, July 15, 2021 - Decanted for an hour.
Expressive nose with sweet, ripe red fruit, herbs with a touch of lavender- almost would call it garigue if it was just a touch more savory. Lovely. Palate brings the same fruit, maybe candied, but a touch softer. The acidity is fabulously balanced and the tannins poised, if not needing a bit more integration at this point. Love this wine. But holy moly wait a few years if you can and then for the next 20. Glad I’ve got more.
