Wednesday, June 9, 2021 - I'm not very familiar with Loire reds but helped put that right with a stellar line up of Pallus 16, 11 and 06 as well as Clos Rougeaurd 13 and 09. These wines do definitely need time and the 06 was stellar. This 2016 is much too young, so hang on to any bottles for another decade. This has lovely freshness and some violets on the nose, good tannin and a darker fruit profile.
