Monday, September 7, 2020 - This producer is new to me, and I don't always agree with Halliday, but in my opinion this wine is seriously underrated, or maybe it's just a great vintage. As with the best of the Chards from Oz, there is a fine balance struck between Puligny and Meursault with very clean Chardonnay headlines of peach and melon, restrained oak, great greengage aromatics, and a spotless, racy delivery. OK, no acidic fireworks like the best from Burgundy, but this is about a fifth of the price so no complaints. Excellent, doesn't tire my buds, I could drink gallons of this.
