Saturday, April 24, 2021 - Silky and flavorful, but I was surprised by how oaky this was. Perhaps it had more merlot character in its younger days? Certainly not over the hill - I expect there’ll be positive reviews on CT about this for 5-10 more years. Just seems much oakier than other Bob Foley merlots - Pride and Switchback - that I’ve been drinking for years. Perhaps it was just this vintage or bottle.
