Monday, September 11, 2023 - Still a dark garnet-purple, glass-staining wine. Amply expresses sweet currant, cherry, pomegranate, raw steak, and iron nose that defiantly betrays the wine’s age. It is so reminiscent of a nicely aged fine burgundy and an utter surprise! A bit alcoholic on the medium long finish, but i so much prefer aged QC cabs from this earlier era than the 2000’s.
