Monday, July 12, 2021 - Like this more than the '17. Has some wax, young Trebbiano-nose elements that open to reveal dried fruit and hints of charcuterie. A good dose of a saline-umami character run through this wine, but it is buffered with brisk acidity and citrus flavors. Very layered, much to unpack as it sits and deepens. I get the sense this can stand some age. Still very compacted. Amorotti is one to watch for me.
