Thursday, October 27, 2022 - My magnum drank over 2 days: Delicious nose of ripe cherry, some briar raspberry, a touch of licorice and root beer. Mouthfilling and smooth, the baked red fruit and sassafras flavors mix well to a great long finish that's perfect. Every sip over 2 days was delicious and compelling. Should be this great for another 2 years I think but perfect now.

1/3/2023 4:22:00 PM - 2 friends of mine told me a few years ago that I screwed up by forgetting this wine that "should have been drunk 10 years ago", and that's why I avoided opening it for friends assuming it was going to disappoint. Boy, was I wrong. I would have loved to wow them with it... but my husband and I really enjoyed it by ourselves.
