Monday, May 16, 2022 - As soon as the cork was removed aromas of dark fruit leaped out of the bottle. A quick taste before decanting showed that this wine was still wrapped up tight, but three hours later it was a different story. Fresh dark fruit flavors echoed the earlier aromas, but savory notes added to the complexity. It was a great accompaniment to the dark braised chuck roast based on an Edward Lee recipe.
