I really want to like this wine, a lot, but its tough. There is a little more bacon fat and earthiness to this bottling vs the '17, but the "juicy fruity" elements upfront are still too predominate and the wine lacks focus and depth. OK, call it unfair to hold up a great CdR as comparison, but when the winery sells this for thesamepriceormore as a great CdR, I don't know....
