Friday, November 27, 2020 - Was curious to try this French Pinot so when poured this wine showed a medium ruby colour with very quick tears when swirled. On the nose aromas of plum fruit, olives, & layered spice/earth notes were very noticeable. On the palate this wine gave big sweet plum notes with a very good body and finish. This was a very enjoyable/simple Pinot that was not overly complex and made me think I was drinking a New Zealand Pinot due to its close similarity. This was a “good” scoring Pinot that I would recommend & purchase in the future.
