Thursday, December 31, 2020 - After half the bottle sat to slow-ox over 24 hrs, it really improved this wine. At first this one was all about the chalky, youthful brambly red thorny fruit. And WOW it had a ton of it. So much on day 1 that this really was out of balance. Second day the fruit was still there but the herbal quality and white pepper finish evened this one out. Still quite acidic on the opening. This wine is quite enjoyable now, but really I think the best thing to do with this one is to let it bottle age and drink on past vintages. This is a monster, and will do well over the next 6-7 years.
