Friday, September 29, 2023 - Beautiful colour. Quite subdued on the nose initially. Definitely fully mature. Touch of savoury hoisin elements intermingled with the dark fruit elements. Nice spice and soil notes but you need to concentrate with this wine as it is quite subtle and gentle. Went very well with beef shank consommé. A special treat as always.
