Sunday, January 6, 2002 - "Arguably the greatest producer of Chianti Classico" according to James Suckling. I agree. Drank one in 1/02. Medium bodied. A perfect match for almost any Italian meal. Nice aromas of violets and berries. Very smooth. Bright and lively now indicating the tannins have faded to let the rich fruit prevail. At it's peak.
