Saturday, July 29, 2023 - Exactly the style of Chardonnay that I enjoy drinking. It's fine & precise, yet holds so much power and concentration. Matured in 20% new French oak for 10 months. The wood is in harmony perfectly with the fruit, with linear acidity. Nougat, nutty, melon, citrus & white grilled nectarine. Burgundian in style, this reminded me of drinking Picardy Chardonnay from Pemberton. Ageing potential here too, and very fairly priced.
