Friday, February 11, 2011 - . I was ecstatic when this bottle was opened, not sure how it might have held. To my surprise, this wine was shining. Showing no signs of a slide, this wine was ruby red in color, deep and dark. Primary fruit aromas of black currants, black berries and just a dash of sweet oak. Tantalizing to taste, showing soft tannins on a medium body, with fresh black fruit flavors. Showing wonderful after 16 years.
