Wednesday, March 13, 2024 - Excellent-
Poured half a glass from Coravin the first night and it seemed quite primary, so decanted a couple of hours the next night and it showed better. This is full throttle Grenache, no mistaking it from the nose through the body. Ripe, very smooth, kirsch, some baking spices and scorched earth. Very nice, mildly warming. Clean finish, not gloppy or tiring despite the heft and abv.

Not sure about QPR here at full price, but I'm OK with the value at close-out $50 USD. Lay down the other bottle until ~2029?
