Sunday, November 29, 2015 - This is a CabSav/Sangiovese blend. Dark garnet. Nose of tobacco, dark fruit, spices, pine, clay. On the palate still quite youthful with strong tannins and acidity. Medium bodied with good fruit stuffing in the background, needed a good 2h in the decanter to open up. Nice aromatic length. This is built for the long haul so waiting won't hurt here. If you drink now, serious decanting is advisable.
