Thursday, June 28, 1990 - Classical and harmonious nose with ripe fruit, spices and oak; lovely hint of sweetness on the attack, elegant, compact, has already lost most of its tannin, nice weight for a 1980, cedary; good length, drying. The best 1980 I have tasted so far.
