Wednesday, October 13, 2021 - This is one of those wonderful wines that delivers a drinking experience well above its price point. It’s really more a baby Chateauneuf than “merely” a Côtes du Rhône, and brings the full flavors of cherry, earth, wild herbs and sun-soaked stone to life. It has some brightness on the palate, even though it finishes with a kirsch and olive bass note. So darned satisfying, and only a $20-$25 wine.
