Monday, December 25, 2023 - Terrific Ocxidental PN. Decanted for 45 min. Incredible fruit aroma intensity - darker fruits of dark cherry and blackberry along with brighter raspberry. Tons of orange peel on the nose and also giving some bitterness on palate. Amazing fruit concentration with red and dark fruit. Tertiary notes becoming apparent - forest floor, earth and mushroom. This will easily age well for another 5 years. But a great wine for Christmas dinner.
