Wednesday, January 24, 2024 - Earthy nose of blackcurrant, wild berries, iron, with a frame of brown spices and coffee. A menthol top note. A rich spread of sweet, savoury fruit, with a touch of rusticity. Noticeably silky on the palate, bright red fruit, with punch and grip, whilst retaining the charm. Dense, chewy finish. Very Pommard, but also accessible and not without finesse.
